Pavese Ermes

Ermes Pavese founded his business in 1999 and in 2005 the farm produced (a vine-covered area of 1.5 ha) a total of approximately 8000 bottles.

Ermes Pavese, gathering the experience of his family and the advice of his friend Marziano, founded his business in 1999.

The native Prié Blanc stock, raised ungrafted, has arrived at our times intact. The altitude at which the Morgex vines are cultivated (1200 meters) has saved it from phylloxera and still today cuttings can be obtained from the vines themselves.

In 2001, Ermes decided to experiment with a new path, adding production of the Vin Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle Valle d'Aosta DOC:

NATHAN - (Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle Valle d'Aosta DOC) - refined in oak barrels

NINIVE - (wine from extra-ripe grapes) - grapes allowed to wilt in the vineyard and harvested after the first frost, usually in the first days of December.

These also being produced exclusively with 100% Prié Blanc grapes, Ermes named them for his children (because, after all, the producer also pampers, loves and follows the wine like a son or daughter).

In 2005 the farm produced (a vine-covered area of 1.5 ha) a total of approximately 8000 bottles: 6000 of Vin Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle DOC - 1000 of NATHAN - 1000 of NINIVE.
